Fuime

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 August 2026.

This covers Fuime's pre-launch beta

Fuime is not yet handling real money. Payments and cards run against Stripe's test mode, so no real funds move through the platform. This policy describes what Fuime collects today. Before Fuime handles real money it will be replaced by a policy reviewed by a lawyer, and you will be told before that happens.

Who we are

Fuime is a financial record-keeping platform for businesses run by teenagers aged 13 to 17, with a parent or legal guardian on the account. When this policy says “we” it means Fuime; “you” means anyone with a Fuime account, whether a teen or a guardian.

Fuime is 13+

You must be at least 13 years old to hold a Fuime account. We ask for a date of birth during signup and refuse to create an account for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from a child under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email support@fuime.com and we will remove it.

What we collect

From everyone with an account:

From a teen running a business:

From a parent or guardian:

Why we collect it

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train machine-learning models.

Who else sees it

A guardian sees everything about the businesses they sign for. That is the point of the product and a teen cannot switch it off.

We also use these companies to run Fuime, and they process data on our behalf:

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

If you make your business public

A business can publish a storefront page. When it is public, anyone on the internet can see the business name, its description, and its transaction history. We deliberately do not publish the account balance, and we do not publish the owner's name when the owner is a minor. Publishing is off unless someone turns it on, and we recommend a guardian be part of that decision.

How long we keep it

Your rights, and a parent's rights

A parent or guardian on an account may:

Email support@fuime.com to make any of these requests. Some of them are not yet self-serve in the product; we handle them by hand in the meantime, and we do not charge for them.

Security

Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest. You can protect your account with two-factor authentication or a security key from your security settings. If you find a vulnerability, please tell us — see our security page.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we do with your information, we will email you.
